3D design adalah Computer Graphic Imagery, 
salah satu jenis gambar rekayasa dengan bantuan computer yang 
sedemikian rupa, dengan bantuan software 3D  seperti Sketchup, 3DsMax, Cinema4D, Maya, Lightwave dll.
Prosesnya melalui 3 proses utama modelling, texturing, rendering.
Dan proses finishing touch dengan software pengolah gambar (Photoshop) atau software pembuat effect2 (AfterEffect, Nuke, Combustion, Shake dll) untuk menghasilkan gambar yang lebih kuat kesannya.
